Radial spherical plain bearings

Are complete units comprising inner and outer rings with a steel/steel or steel/bronze sliding contact surface
- The inner rings has a cylindrical bore and convex outer slideway
- The outer rings has a cylindrical outside surface and concave inner slideway - for diameters d = 320mm and above, the outer ring is split at two points and held together by retaining rings
Can support radial loads
Can transmit moment-free motion and loads

They can thus keep bending stresses away from the adjacent structure

Are particularly suitable for oscillating loads wit impact-type and shcok-type characteristics
Can support axial loads in both directions
Are lubricated via the outer and inner ring
- Exceptions are indicated in the dimension tables
- Under oscillating load, one side is relieved; this zone is lubricated as a result of the swivel motion.

Sealed radial spherical plain bearings requiring maintenance
